Kung Markatta is now launching KRAV-branded pea mince with a high protein content and a neutral taste that
is easy to prepare. Soak the pea mince for 20 minutes or boil it for a few minutes in broth. Steak
then season to taste. Kung Markatta’s pea mince is an affordable alternative to animal proteins and swells approx. 2.5 times when cooking. Use it as animal mince or crispy roast and serve warm in a salad – yum!
Kung Markatta’s field beans are grown, peeled and packed in Sweden – climate smart and of course
organic and KRAV-labelled. Shelled field beans will have a milder taste and do not need to
soaked before like other beans but can be cooked directly, much like lentils. The field bean
boils easily and can therefore be difficult to use in the salad, but can be useful
can be used instead of chickpeas in hummus and falafel, but feel free to try adding them as well
the soup or make delicious bean patties – only your imagination sets the limits!
